The rules for using this website — in normal English.
These terms cover browsing corridorwebco.com and using its forms. They do not cover paid work, which is governed by the separate Website Build Agreement you sign when you hire us.
Last updated: May 1, 2026
1. Acceptance
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the site. We'll be sad but we'll get over it.
2. Who we are
This site is operated by MarathonMeta LLC, an Iowa LLC doing business as Corridor Web Co., located in Coralville, Iowa. "We" / "us" means MarathonMeta LLC.
3. What you can do here
- Browse our pages and look at our demo sites.
- Fill out our contact form to ask about working with us.
- Fill out the intake form to request a quote.
- Click the SMS / phone / email links to reach us by your preferred channel.
- If you're an existing client, log into your dashboard or your site editor.
4. What you can't do here
- Submit information that isn't yours, isn't accurate, or doesn't belong to a real business you're authorized to represent.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest information from this site at automated scale (a normal browser visit is fine; a script hammering our endpoints isn't).
- Try to access parts of the system you're not authorized for (admin pages, other clients' portals, the database, etc.).
- Send malicious payloads, spam our forms, or otherwise attempt to break or abuse the site.
- Copy our visual design or written content for your own business. You're welcome to be inspired by the demos — that's why they're public — but copy-pasting our pages is not permitted.
5. Free mockups and quotes
We offer free homepage mockups and free quotes. These are a courtesy, not a contract. We'll do our best work for you on a mockup, but:
- A mockup is not a finished website. It's a design direction we'd take if you hire us.
- We retain ownership of any mockup we send you unless and until you sign our Website Build Agreement and pay for the build.
- We're not obligated to mockup every business that asks. We may decline if the project isn't a fit (we focus on local small businesses in the Iowa City Corridor).
6. Information you submit
By filling out a form, you confirm that the information is yours to share (or you have permission from whoever it belongs to), and you give us permission to use it for the purpose it was submitted: replying to you, preparing a quote, building you a mockup, or running an engagement we've agreed on.
How we handle that information is covered by our Privacy Policy.
7. Paid work is governed by a separate agreement
When you hire us to build a website or sign up for a Care plan, you sign our Website Build Agreement. That agreement covers scope, timeline, payment, ownership, cancellation, and limitation of liability for the actual work. These Terms of Use only cover your use of the website itself — they don't override or replace the build agreement.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this site — copy, design, code, logo, demo sites, images we created — is owned by MarathonMeta LLC d/b/a Corridor Web Co., except where credited otherwise. You can view it in a browser. You can't republish, copy, or distribute it without written permission.
Trademarks, logos, and business names of other companies that may appear on this site (e.g., in demo content) belong to their respective owners and don't imply endorsement.
9. Demo sites are demonstrations only
The demo websites linked from /demos are concept directions, not real businesses. The phone numbers, addresses, license numbers, and prices shown on them are fictional. Don't call the numbers, don't book appointments — they don't go anywhere.
10. Third-party links
Where we link to outside services (Stripe, Resend, Vercel, Google, etc.), we don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or terms. You're subject to their terms when you visit them.
11. No warranty
This website is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it up, fast, and accurate, but we don't guarantee that:
- It will always be available without interruption.
- All content is current — pricing, availability, and specifics can change between when we ship a page and when you read it.
- The site is free from bugs or security issues.
- Any specific outcome will result from contacting us (we'll do our best, but we can't guarantee you'll like the mockup or that we'll be the right fit).
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for anything related to your use of this website is limited to $0, since you haven't paid us anything. If you've hired us for paid work, that engagement is governed by the Website Build Agreement, which has its own (more substantial) liability terms.
We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages — lost profits, lost business, lost data, etc. — arising from your use of this website.
13. Termination
We can suspend or block access to this site for anyone who violates these terms (including, especially, sections 4 and 5). If you don't want to use the site anymore, just stop. There's nothing to cancel.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA. Any dispute arising from your use of this website will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Johnson County, Iowa, and you agree those courts have personal jurisdiction over you.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when. Material changes (anything that affects your rights or our obligations to you) will be flagged on this page; continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the new terms.
16. Contact
Questions about these terms — email hello@corridorwebco.com or text (319) 328-8022.
